I just love this. Clean lines, realistic looking people, perfect facial expressions, excellently rendered architecture, tight composition... I just can't express how many ways I like this painting.

"Oh this elves..has to be suicide..he stabbed him self three times..with three knifes...those pointed eared freaks.." that's what a lawful evil guardsman may say.
I lvoe the composition and the way the three city guards in the center interact. The details are blast too, especially the commoner trying to catch a look.

I would have never thought of CSI in million year when seeing this drawing..... it reminds me of all the poor poor investigators in Assasins Greed... so many dead bodys

I love how they talked about the design for Dimir involving sets of three to represent the three prongs on either side of the Dimir guildsymbol. If you look, the knives that killed our victim are in a descending pattern of three.
